St Peter's gives extra support to enable children to achieve our school vision of:

We have identified as a school that when children receive additional support for social skills and emotional awareness, it has a direct impact on their academic outcomes and future life chances.

Interactive sessions make learning social and emotional skills accessible and fun. Sessions take place in a calm and welcoming environment.

ELSA gives children time and support to reflect and develop strategies for self-regulation and managing strong emotions. This helps friendships and social relationships flourish.

At the end of their ELSA time, children have the opportunity to celebrate all the things they have achieved and skills they have learned.
