Our Nursery at St Peter's

Here at St Peter’s we have fantastic Nursery provision which offers children from the age of 3 a wonderful start in their learning through being active, exploring and being curious in both our indoor and outdoor setting. Our Nursery is in our a purpose built Early Years Unit which is shared with the children who are in Reception (4-5 years old). We have a brilliant environment for the children to flourish in, and work as an early years unit providing rich, high quality learning opportunities and interactions. The children have many opportunities here at St Peter's which bring learning to life including special visitors, school trips, weekly Forest School sessions, weekly PE sessions and caring for our chickens. 

Our morning session is 8.30am-11.45am

Our afternoon session is 12.00-3.00pm (includes lunchtime)

Our all day sessions is 8.30am-3.00pm

If you child is doing an afternoon session or all day you can send them with a packed lunch or order them a hot school meal.

All children become eligible for government funded sessions in the term after their 3rd birthday. Children can be allocated between 15 – 30* government funded hours per week (*eligibility dependent). Contact us to find out more about session costs and how to claim your funded hours.

Our Nursery is run by skilled and experienced staff who care deeply about your child and their happiness, wellbeing and learning. While each member of staff works with every child, you will be given a Key Person who takes a special interest in your child. 

Stay and play sessions

We run Stay and Play sessions each month, from 2-3pm. These sessions are open to all 0-4 year olds and their families to come and enjoy playing and exploring within our Nursery, both inside and outside. £3 per family. Please see the poster for upcoming dates or drop us an email!
